Discover Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire

Originally famous for its spa waters, the village of Woodhall Spa is surrounded by mature woodland situated approximately 20 miles from the city of Lincoln and is a popular tourist destination with camp sites, holiday lodges and hotels throughout and boasts facilities including the popular “Kinema in the woods” which has several screens and “entertainment” in the interval with tunes from the Compton organ.

Renowned for its aviation heritage, Woodhall Spa is often referred to as “Bomber County” with its links to the 617 Dambuster squadron with memorabilia still evident in the Petwood Hotel and the war memorial in the village centre.  Ranked one of the finest in the UK is the golf course, along with Jubilee park providing tennis courts, a bowling green and the open air swimming pool, with the Cottage Museum giving an insight into “days gone by” with its old photographs and memorabilia.
