In 1998, a group of local volunteers in association with the Lincolnshire Mills Group, formed the Moulton Windmill Project. The Project is largely made up of local people who wanted to restore the Mill to full working order. They are supported in their work by the Friends of Moulton Mill who volunteer as guides, shop assistants and tea room staff.
Moulton Mill in the village of Moulton has recently been fully restored by the friends of Moulton Mill on a voluntary basis. The Mill has received national recognition. In order to start the process, Broadgate purchased the land on which the Mill stands and granted a long peppercorn lease to the mill; it continues to work with Moulton Mill to maintain its unique appeal.

The Hockey Club in the small town of Long Sutton is the highest ranked hockey team in Lincolnshire.
With current GB players within its ex player ranks it has provided a great basis for both male and female hockey players to learn and play the game. When the club needed to update its website, Broadgate provided support to one of the clubs young players who then produced a Website that is the envy of many much larger clubs and that has encouraged more young people to become a part of the club.
"Broadgate Homes provided the funding to help one of our Junior Players to update our club website. The new, excellent website is a very important way of keeping our players, juniors and parents informed and involved in all things associated with the club."
Lorraine Wallis, President of Long Sutton Hockey Club

Blackfriars Arts Centre in Boston is a local theatre housed in a medieval friary. Like a lot of small local theatres it ran into trouble a few years ago and was threatened with closure. Broadgate lent the theatre £52,000 interest free which was repaid over a 26 month period, this allowed the theatre to reorganise and strengthen itself for the future.
Broadgate are happy to sponsor the kit of Spalding U8 football team. This local team offers the chance for local youngsters to play team sport at an organised level, with excellent coaching and a professional kit the side are able to experience a good level of football at a young age.
