Building a brighter future
|
In recent years there has been renewed interest in careers in construction and
Broadgate Homes are proud to have been at the forefront of this locally. The
construction team at Broadgate have forged excellent working relationships with
a number of local colleges including
Boston
, Kings Lynn,
Peterborough
and
Lincoln
and this has helped them to offer work based apprenticeships to 15 trainees currently.
All site trades are represented, as well as site management and architecture
and each year Broadgate look to employ more trainees to help grow their skilled
workforce. One of the keys to the Broadgate Training Programme is how the trainees
are integrated into the workforce to ensure their transition from trainee to tradesman
is seamless.
Rob Mitchell, Broadgate Homes Construction Manager, is strongly committed to
growing tomorrows workforce, he said “Broadgate is proud of the build quality

in the main down to a combination of skilled trades and good management. With
